Heather Price is a singer-songwriter, professional musician and music teacher. The daughter of musicians, Heather was surrounded by music from birth, majoring in Double Bass at University.
Heather is a published and licensed songwriter and has released a number of albums in the past 20 years, performing regularly around Australia, both as a solo artist and as a session player for other acts.
Heather required a website and online music store to promote her work, growing portfolio of original music and upcoming live performances. Heather’s customised website included a digital downloads music store for her albums and music resources.
Additional design projects included album covers, music and resource books, and print and web promotion for Heather’s music collections. For Heather’s ‘I am Loved’ children’s album cover, I designed a custom type illustration, with the bold black and white graphics designed for children to colour in themselves. Heather’s ‘Always’ single cover included my original photography.
Heather’s passion for the environment was considered in her printing choices. The album packaging was printed in Australia on 100% recycled stock with vegetable-based inks. The promotional tote bags were screen printed in Australia on a climate-neutral organic cotton bag manufactured using renewable green energy from wind and solar power.
